United Way of Greater Eau Claire is offering funding to nonprofit programs that address the following among the low socio-economic population:

  • adult alcohol and tobacco use
  • obesity
  • depression
  • dental disease

Organizations that are interested in applying for funding must submit an Intent to Apply Form by June 11, 2010.

That means being sure every child has access to great early learning opportunities and providing an environment which nurtures their abilities. Beyond meeting basic needs, children need opportunities to thrive.
